Hi everyone,

Just wondering about travel insurance? Where has everyone got theres from, and if you don't mind me asking how much? I want travel insurance that is going to cover everything but don't want to pay to much as i probably won't need.

Anyone got any ideas?

Hey there

I got mine from Flight Centre when i booked my trip. Not sure how much it will cost for you, because im living the UK after my trip for 2 years o mine cost alot. I think its around $200 for a month... but theres so many different ones to get... Just ask your travel agent or do a search on the net:)

200?? thats heaps!! i went with STA travel - and its only $2.80 a day!! so a mths like, $80 - it covers all hosp. stuff - but less with lost of lugagge ect..but i dont think my luggagge is that valuable!! so its worth the risk!!

cheers,

Hi Kristy Lee - I booked mine through Harvey World Travel and it cost me $400 for my seven week trip through Europe USA and the Caribbean but since I have booked I have noticed YHA have some good deals. Whatever you decide good luck and enjoy your travels from Terry - Grand European May 22.

There are many Travel Insurance companies around, ranging from the ones your Travel Agent will recommend to various others. Have a look online for the various companies that are around. I managed to get Full comphrensive for 2 adults that was much less than the one our travel agent offered. Not only that, we get more things covered. My only advice is to look around and choose one that suits your needs.

Are you planning a vacation and are undecided about the usefulness of travel insurance. Since you plan to spend a goodly sum of money on airfare, accommodations, car rentals and other arrangements, it is probably a good idea to insure your trip with travel insurance.
